Ready to join one of our Graduate Programmes in Spain?

AIRBUS and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), offer a full time programme that combines a Master in Aiframe Technology and an 11 month internship at AIRBUS facilities.

You will receive a grant of 875€gross/month during the internship.

The cost of this Master starting in 2020 will be partially funded by AIRBUS What is the academic content of this Master?

The Master in Airframe Technology contains the following modules:

- Presentation, Invited Lectures and Tutoring (2.5 ECTS)

- Market drivers & Requirements (1.0 ECTS)

- Overall Aircraft Design (Aircraft Loads) (2.5 ECTS)

- Finite Element Modeling (4.3 ECTS)

- Computer Aided Design (Catia) (4.3 ECTS)

- Aircraft Design (9.6 credits)

- Structural Tests and Mechanical Characterization of Aeronautical Components (4.9 ECTS)

- Manufacturing of Aeronautical Structures (4.1 ECTS)

- Mass & Cost Aspects in Aircraft Design (3.7 credits)

- Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (2.0 ECTS)

- Practical Exercise (4.9 ECTS)

- Master Thesis (6 ECTS)

The Master in Airframe Technology will start in January 2018 and will finish after 1 academic year. The University lectures will take place from Monday to Thursday between16:30 - 20:30. Some sessions might be organized on Friday.

Master tuition fee: 9000€ (possibility of payment installments per semester). The cost of this Master will be partially funded by AIRBUS What does this internship consists in?

The Master in Airframe Technology program includes a part-time paid internship at the AIRBUS Spain facilities. During the internship period (11 months), the students will solve real airframe technology projects under the supervision of a Company Mentor. In addition to the real-work experience, the industrial placement helps Master in Airframe Technology students to create a network of contacts.

The Aiframe programme includes a paid internship at the AIRBUS-Spain facilities. The work shift is 35hours/week from Monday to Friday (8:00-15:00) during eleven months (august excluded), with a grant of 875€/month. What are we looking for?

- The Master in Airframe Technology is aimed at professionals working in the aerospace industry (including AIRBUS employees and subcontractors), and recent graduates of Master Degree in any branch of Engineering related to aerospace and structures. Bachelor Degree students (4 years) will be considered if they have a relevant experience of 3 years:

Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering

Industrial Engineering (all specialties)

Civil Engineering

Other related studies with an emphasis on design and calculation structures.

- Languages: Advanced level of English. Spanish, French and/or German will be taken into consideration

- International experience will be a plus
